Bring your AK-47 into the 21st century with the RS Regulate AKR optic mount. One of the most common complaints of the AK pattern is the lack of picatinny rail for mounting red dot sights, rifle scopes, and other optics. This 2nd generation AKR upper 1913 picatinny rail attaches via set screws to the AK-300 series of lower side mounts. It provides a solid set up with optional roll pin staking to prevent your sighting system from losing zero under recoil or impact. It is extremely modular as it allows you to place your optic over bore with front-to-back positioning to customize it to your eye position. I go to decide scope mount for my Yugo M 77. Before it got here the TWS dogleg rail came out for the Yugo and I ordered it and was able to return the side scope mount without any issue whatsoever. This is a top quality company and I would recommend them to anyone.
Too complicated

I don't think being able to adjust the horizontal position is worth the extra effort, cost, and potential that it will come apart. Mine ended up at zero when dead center, and you have to drill and pin the mount to ensure it doesn't come loose. I would much have a one piece mount.

Quality doesn't come cheap

Excellent quality scope mount. With the built in adjustability this mount lines up perfectly and is light weight but strong. Wish I had just gotten this scope mount first.

All though the release of the YUGO specific AK series mounts from RS Regulate are not out yet, i already know this setup for my Yugo opap will be great, especially with an EoTech 512. RS Regulate is no joke!
