RS Regulate VZ-304M Rear-Biased Lower Scope Rail - VZ.58
RS Regulate has extended their line of modular rail systems to the popular VZ.58 pattern rifle. The VZ-304M lower scope rail is extremely precise, rugged, light weight, and it attaches directly to the side rail on your VZ58 receiver. A benefit of the side mount system is that there is no possibility of losing zero like top dust cover mounting options. This modular rail system is the thinnest side mount in the world and it uses a high-strength titanium locking system to keep it locked down. Once this rear biased lower rail is locked down, it isn’t going anywhere ensuring that your favorite optic stays zeroed. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and the modular design allows you to mount your optic directly over bore and adjust for proper eye relief. All you need is an upper optic mount compatible with your favorite red dot or scope and you are ready to head to the range.
Full Compatibility List:
The VZ304-M front biased lower rail weighs just 2.94 ounces and is compatible with VZ.58 type rifles with factory side mount rails. With the RS Regulate modular lower rail mounts, you can easily remove your optic for storage and retain zero the next time you attach it at the range. This rock-solid modular scope mounting system is top of the line when it comes to attaching modern optics to the classic VZ58 pattern of rifle.
RS Regulate was built on the idea of providing customers with a solid and dependable way to customize their AK pattern rifles with any optics they want from an ACOG to full on rifle scopes. After years of testing and researching, they came up with the AK-300 modular mounting system which allows a huge variety of customization in terms of optics positioning. This two-piece design allows you to choose the lower and upper picatinny rail systems to fully personalize your setup.

Solid mount - but check your VZ58 before ordering
by Jonathan -
The RS Products Mounts are great and maintain zero. However, if you have the VZ58 with side folding stock with a sling swivel on the same side as the optics mount attachment, this mount will not fit.
<br>The reason it will not fit is the sling swivel prevents you from mounting the rail (pushing from the rear of the rifle towards the front). You will either have to remove the sling swivel or do some fitment of the rail itself.
