No machining marks, silky smooth.

This is one of the nicest bolt carrier I own. It has a "Satin" nitride finish, no machining marks on the carrier. Contact points and inside the carrier are super smooth. "No machining marks". I will be buying more from Ruber City once prices come down.

I recently bought a custom barrel that came headspaced with a rubber city bolt. I was pleasantly surprised to find a rubber city carrier at Primaryarms to complete my bcg.

High quality

This is the second Rubber City Armory bolt carrier. They’re very well made and high quality. The finish on the surfaces are very smooth and even. They work great. I also like them because I don’t live far farther company. I like purchasing local.

The biggest reason I picked this carrier is the cost savings because I've been buying barrels with head-spaced bolts already included.

I'm sold on RCA now. Well machined out of great materials. The surface finish is slick. The gas key has a hidden bonus-- mine came notched for the POF roller cam pin.

This is a very nice piece. Just not sure what I was thinking ordering just the bolt carrier. At first glance I thought it was the entire group. I will have to pay more attention in the future.

something different

Am building a 6.8SPC II upper for something new to try. Was going to go with a complete BCG instead of just the carrier. Wanting a Nitride finish left me even less to chose from. I would of went with RCA complete BGC but they didn't offer it. They also were out of the Faxon BGC. This carrier worked out perfect, add Faxon bolt. Like that it has no logo, all my other AR Bolts do, will be easier to tell from 5.55 BGC that way. A reminder about cam pin and firing pin would of been nice. It did come with a firing pin retraining pin, should be listed.

They didn't have a complete .224 VALKYRIE/6.8 SPC II BCG in nitride finish. I parted my own. Rubber City bolt carrier and Faxon bolt. I wish they would of reminded me it did not come with a cam pin but Forward Controls Design Cam Pin with Witness Mark - Nitrided came along with a Rubber City Rubber City Armory Stainless Steel AR-15 Firing Pin - Nitride soon after. The bolt carrier did have the firing pin retrain which I didn't see listed, so was happy I didn't need to get one on that second order. All fit together like a dream.
