The one-piece precision machined grip frame with checkered synthetic grips are contoured for a natural pointing angle, but can be replaced according to preference. A push-button magazine release located on the frame's left side drops the magazine freely for easy reloading. Designed with a one-button takedown, the Ruger Mark IV Standard Pistol is easy to clean from chamber to muzzle by pressing the button on the back of the frame. This allows the barrel-receiver assembly to lift up off the frame without the need for tools.
