The Safariland Model 6378 ALS® Concealment Paddle Holster is an open-top holster designed for concealed carry by plainclothes officers and private citizens who require a combination of security and accessibility. The Automatic Locking System (ALS®), a type of active retention, secures your firearm in all directions as soon as you holster it. When you achieve a full firing grip, you simply deactivate the ALS® with your right thumb, allowing you to perform a smooth vertical draw stroke with no lateral movement.

For a custom-molded fit, SafariLand uses SafariLaminate™ -  a high-impact thermoplastic formed to the gun’s exterior dimensions that also protects the weapon from impact and abrasion. The paddle holster design is contoured to conform to your hip for strong-side carry and has a forward cant for increased concealability. 

The Model 6378 also includes paddle and belt loop attachments. The belt loop allows you to adjust the cant and can fit 1.5” and 1.75” belts. Furthermore, the holster rides high on the belt and close to the body, minimizing printing and maximizing discreet carry under a cover garment. This variant is designed for right-handed shooters and Glock 17, 22, and 31 full-size service pistols.
