When drawing your handgun, the protective red dot cover automatically rotates away from the holster and won't hinder your deployment motion. When a more secure pistol holster solution is needed, Safariland offers the 6390 RDS mid-ride holster with an ALS or automatic locking system, which locks the firearm immediately upon holstering.
