Great Value
by Chinou -
First, the glass is really clear for the value you get. Reticle is not too busy, so it's easy to use. Adjustment turrets feel solid. The illumination works well, and is pretty bright for me. The magnification ring is easy and smooth to adjust. Comes with 2 batteries, one installed and one in the spare compartment.
I own three...

Pros (10): Good glass clear when adjusted (fuzzy within 3 meters at 1x and fuzzy within 15 meters at 8x without focus adjustment), at 1x it is great as a sharper-than-naked-eye prism reflex for me, available accessories (motion battery cap, lever), good illumination, magnification dial is good stiffness for me, inexpensive/economical but not "cheap" and feels like it will hold up to decent wear/tear, SLx Series rated to .50 cal recoils, coating good for spray-paint primers, comes with good factory lens protectors (but may sometimes need to make them more snug), Lifetime warranty card in box.
Cons (1): the screws on the magnification dial are very tight phillips and have made a single exchange out of my 3 purchases (MAKE THEM HEX SCREWS)
Rugged and built to last
by J Mac -
I haven't been able to shoot with the LPVO yet, but I'm ready to give this optic a raving review. My newly delivered optic was carelessly left in front of my garage door instead of at my front door. Thanks to the delivery man and unbeknownst to me, I accidentally rolled over my brand new LPVO with my truck. The only damage to my new optic is the trashed rear scope cap with some minor cosmetic blemishing now. The glass is intact and the optic still functions as described. I'm still in shock, but thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship put forth by Primary Arms. Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it.
Great Optic
by Kye K -
Bought this optic to use on my 3 Gun rifle that will regularly shoot out to 450, with occasional shots out to 600. The shipping was fast and got to me within 2-3 days, got it mounted and installed on my rifle. Optic is clear, just not as clear is my PLxC, but is definitely clear. Also it feels like my PLxC is lighter than this optic. Overall so far I have about 300-500 rounds in this optic, with 200 of them at 600. The Griffen reticle makes the holdovers easy as can be, however I wish to see more holds on it like the PLxC reticle has. The illumination is almost day light bright, but definitely works. All in all, this is an amazing optic for the price and I would buy it again.
Badass
by Nick -
Impressed with quality of glass given the price, smooth operation, nice, sharp reticle. 10mil drop bar is easy to use and once you’ve got your holds figured out, about as simple as any bdc I’ve ever used. Highly recommend.
Great scope don't buy the lever
by Jacob
Bought the PA lever for this scope only to find the nub that came on the scope had the smallest Phillips head screws that had to have been put on with loctite. Scope itself is great, clear glass, easy to sight in, but frustrating having to drill out the screws just so I could put the lever on. Rare issue with a primary arms product.
Highly Recommend

If you want the best bang for the buck FFP 1-8 LPVO, I think this is it. On a sale, I paid $410. The glass quality is quite good and reticle illumination is just fine in every environment I used it in. Adjustment knobs are nice and tight. The ACSS Griffin Mil reticle design is well thought out and provides fast hold computation with little memorization. Overall build quality is high. Knocking steel at 400m with 5.56 through a $410 optic . . . Im quite pleased.
My duty carry optic
by Dave K
I've carried this optic on my AR15 duty rifle for the past year and it has been great. As long as Primary arms stands behind this product for duty use, then this is a hard optic to beat for the price.
Doesn't Disappoint
by Dang Vorbei -
I bought this as a duty optic for an 18" AR, to get into the 21st Century and leave behind the 1-4x State policy had saddled us with for years. This has an uncluttered reticle that actually works for range finding, and holds its own with some serious competitors costing three times as much. Adjustment is true, great optical quality. Weight isn't a big issue either, and the construction quality is excellent. I'll buy another one.
fantctic scope

Put this on my AR 10. After sighting in at 100 yards could hit all my steel to 380 yards.
