The Sonicore Rekkr OB uses thicker walls than the Paradox for maximum durability under enhanced rate-of-fire schedules, while retaining the same modular aluminum-and-stainless-steel hybrid construction, integrated self-tightening muzzle brake, and direct-thread overbarrel design. The overbarrel design minimizes added length while allowing the handguard step-down at the rear for compatibility with standard AR-15 handguard inner diameters.

The Sonicore Rekkr OB is a direct-thread overbarrel rifle suppressor chambered for 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem up to .224 diameter, featuring thicker walls than the Paradox series for semi-automatic rifle durability, a modular hybrid aluminum and stainless steel construction, and an integrated self-tightening stainless steel muzzle brake.

Four features distinguish the Rekkr from the Paradox and define its semi-auto capability. Thicker aluminum walls compared to the Paradox provide greater structural integrity under the sustained firing cycles and thermal loads that semi-automatic rifles generate, allowing the Rekkr to handle enhanced rate-of-fire schedules where the lighter Paradox is rated for bolt-action and single-shot use only. The 303 stainless steel baffle insert core maintains erosion resistance at the surfaces that face the highest-pressure gas stream, while 6026-T9 aluminum construction in the outer modules keeps overall weight competitive. The integrated stainless steel muzzle brake self-tightens during firing, maintaining secure thread engagement on the muzzle across high round-count shooting sessions. Heavy knurling increases surface area for heat dissipation and provides a secure grip for hot removal and installation.
