Works perfectly

I only use Spikes Tactical buffers in my builds. I've completed two 9mm builds and this is the buffer you want. It does not require a buffer extension. Cycles without any problems. Can't go wrong with a Spikes product.
ST-9X

My original buffer was too short and not heavy enough. I switched to the ST-9X and it solved all my cycling issues. After a few hundred rounds in, the ST-9X remains flawless. Well worth the money.
Perfect for AR-9 pistols

I have used this buffer in 16" carbines and in several 7.5" Rock River 9mm ARs. It shortens the bolt travel significantly. The most important thing is that it greatly reduces muzzle rise. It has held up through hundreds of rounds.

Purchased this for a Colt AR9. 16in barrel. Both subs and regular ammo. Functions amazing. This buffer is great quality. I paired it with a JP Tuned heavy buffer.
