This rifle features an extremely durable 16-inch CMV steel barrel chambered in 5.56mm and Melonite coated inside and out for exceptional durability. The Saint offers a strong 7075 T6 aluminum, type III hardcoat anodized upper and lower to ensure a long service life. The Saint is a highly functional rifle with a low profile pinned gas block, single side safety selector and a rugged GI style charging handle. The Springfield Saint AR15 is also highly operational with a B5 systems type 23 P-grip, mid-length gas system, M-16 BCG w/ 158 steel bolt, carbine "H" heavy tungsten buffer and nickel boron coated flat GI trigger. It features an A2 flash hider and B-5 M-LOK Mid-Length handguard for unmatched performance. The rifle is optimized to promote reliable operation and is designed to provide optimal performance with unmatched reliability for the user who frequently uses and abuses their weapon.
