The Stag 15 SPR AR-15 Barreled Upper chambered in 5.56 NATO is a high quality and durable starting point to start your Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle build It boasts a 16.5” freefloat M-LOK rail offering increased ergonomics, maximum airflow and modularity for optimal performance and durability. The handguard provides an uninterrupted picatinny rail along the top which allows room for sights, optics and accessories.  It is a mil-spec upper receiver chambered in 5.56mm with a 18-inch barrel precision machined from 4150 CMV steel and black nitride coated providing the highest quality and unrivaled durability. The receiver is hammer forged from mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum with a type III hard coat providing the strength and toughness to withstand the most severe abuse and provide maximum corrosion resistance. It features a rifle length gas system and low profile gas block for reliability and optimal performance in all conditions. This Stag 15 SPR upper receiver checks all the boxes for a long range AR-15, including an 18” Special Purpose Rifle profile barrel, slim line handguard, and compatibility with 77gr Open Tip Match made for SPR applications, as well as a wide array of common 5.56 ammo.
