The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mounted Weapon Light with Pressure Switch is a compact, powerful light designed for long guns. It mounts directly to 1913 Picatinny rails making it compatible with a broad range of weapons, and includes a straight pressure switch that mounts to the rail forend. Powered by a rechargeable SL-B50 battery pack, the ProTac 2.0 RM Weapon Light produces 2,000 lumens on its highest mode with a runtime of 2.5 hours. The multi-function tailcap features push buttons that allow users to switch between high/strobe, high only, or low/high modes and can be programmed with the ten-tap switch.

Simple easy alternative to more expensive lights

Honestly enjoyed this purchase the stream light is a good built product for the price it comes in at. Is has a USB C rechargable battery which the battery never has to leave the light due to an easy to operate slide down which revels the plus in for those that are concerned about having it at your bed side charging. I wish I had known in the product description that it already come mlok compatible with a quick set up change that come with the light. Over all great product feels reliable for what I am using it for and would definitely purchase this specific light in the future again.

Lots of lumens to punch with. Easy controls and comes with everything you need to mount and zip tie to your firearm. This thing is huge tho. It is almost the same size as my Surefire RC2. Just keep that in mind if you're looking for a smaller light this is not it. Takes up a lot of real estate.

2/5 because it does function as a light but everything else is not great
Light was mounted for ~1300 rounds on an x39 AK if it matters
Light flickers if any sort of vibration hits it (fire a round, hit the bolt release, etc) but you don't really notice it when actually shooting.
The little sleeve that pulls down so you can quick charge the battery isn't great - it does prevent water ingress while it's closed, but as soon as you open it the water tends to seep down towards the battery.
The tailcap has several issues as well:
- the tailcap consistently comes loose within several mags, even using threadlocker and vise grips to tighten it
- not sure if it's the tapewitch or the port on the tailcap, but the light flickers when holding the light on with the tapeswitch
- since the tailcap crams both the tapeswitch lead and button into the same space, it makes using the button awkward because it occupies less than half the space on the tailcap.
