Amazing light laser combo

by -

Awesome light attachment for my AR the 1000 luminary’s is extremely bright love the laser function integrated into it. My only thing is the tape switch that it comes with I wish you could have the option to do laser or light if you use the tape switch it uses both no matter what. Other than that love this light would highly recommend it. Of corse PA armory has the best price. Also side note I wish I order the 45 degree offset attachment for my rail at the same time as I ordered this, once I finally got my hands on one it was in the perfect spot.

Solid, bright, useful

The light on this thing is immense in every sense of the word. I can easily identify a person at 75 yards with it. The laser is extremely bright and visible from any range. The tape switch is a bit bigger than i like but it has enough mounting options to compensate for its size. I really like this system and would happily buy another one.

Wish it came with better batteries out of the box, but otherwise very functional and bright.

The only issue that this light has is that the included CR123A batteries do not completely fill up the battery compartment. This causes flickering during recoil as the batteries wiggle around inside the light. It isn't really that big of a deal but I can see it annoying some people. You can solve this problem by purchasing some sort of 18650 type battery, as these fill up the entire chamber. I use the KeepPower 18650s and haven't had issues with them.

Completely functional and bright light aside from this minor annoyance. 5 stars because the programming system is really innovative

Worthy Purchase

by

Purchased the light on sale and I must say, pretty happy with it. Its bright, “as is the laser Imo”, well made, and is a bargain considering the included tape switch and accessories. Others have said it is difficult to zero the laser and complained about how the Light/Laser only work together whilst using the tape switch. Wrong. My adjustment screws were solid and tight, but turned easily. To strictly use the Laser w/ tape switch, simply loosen the tail screw of the tape switch a little bit from tight. I'm not sure if that was meant to be from Streamlight but it works, Lol. Tis a little large compared to other more expensive lights, but not to much for my setup.

Fantastic Rail Light

Im very pleased with this model. It's exactly what is says it is and does exactly what it says it does... a great rail mount light/ laser. lightweight, stupid bright, quality make and functions.

Bigger than it looks

by

This is a large light, even on a 16" long gun. Light is very bright, good hotspot and spill. The laser is a nice touch. This light came with the rechargeable 18650 batt. The 1913 rail mount is quite large too, but a good design, especially that it can be removed (remove cap screws, slide rearward). To experiment with fitment, I slid on an Odin Works offset M-lok mount, fit perfect and tucked the light right in the 45 degree angle which I prefer over the 90 deg rail attach point. Best use? Night time hog hunting I think. It's too big IMO for tac or med frame HD use. It's def doable, adds a lot of bulk BUT, it removes the need for an additional laser device if that's what you want. I have a lot of Streamlights and I wish they would make the head smaller and improve their pressure switch rail attachment. Even Olight's tape switch attachment is better than Streamlight's. In short, great concept but if you don't need a laser or want the bulk, stick with the standard HLX.
