Dual Remote Kit Missing Critical Part
by Jordan -
Received the order quickly and well packed, but unfortunately the Dual Remote Kit included in the box with the TLR-1 HL was missing the the "safe-off tailcap switch". Without this component there is no means to connect the pressure switches to the light unit. As the primary reason for the purchase was to use it on a long gun, I will be returning the unit.
I was able to successfully mount the light to a handgun and was very impressed with the light and is operation. Very bright and lite weight enough on a full sized XDM. I may buy TLR-1/2 for this handgun in the future.
Also, the item was shipped with a hex key that doesn't fit any of the hex screws on the unit. Not a big deal, but Streamlight has some issues in their packing department.
