Worked with effort
by Cyrus -
This was not a great fit in my Luthar uppers. It was very sticky and added a tremendous amount of effort to charging the rifle. The anodizing is incredibly rough, almost like phosphate. After a while, I decided to look it over carefully to see where the wear spots were. I filed those areas down and to my surprise, I found that the machining was very sloppy and may surfaces were not square. After filing the high spots down and truing the more egregiously deviated surfaces, I sanded the rough anodizing smooth. The result is useable, though nothing like even my cheap Anderson or Del Ton charging handles on my AR15s. Maybe it fits other uppers better, but overall, it's a cheap part with sloppy machining and finish. Will it work? Yeah. Would I get it again or recommend it? Not really unless price is an overarching concern.
Gets the job done, but is smaller than it looks in the photos.

This charging handle is a step up in size and grip from an AR15 mil-spec charging handle, but in my aero precision upper and lower with aero precision rifle length kit with buffer, spring, and tube it is kinda tough to pull back. It seems to be getting easier with time but only by a little bit. The price is a good value. It can be tougher with a low mounted scope, I ordered taller rings. I thought about ordering a larger charging handle, but I plan on hunting big game in the mountains with my 308v so I opted for a smaller size to avoid snagging on brush or backpack webbing, etc. It's definitely not made for one finger charges while trying to hold your cheek weld and stay on target while racking a round of clearing a malfunction, etc.
