Won’t close on Aero Percision Upper

Really like the design and was super excited to start a new build, but it won’t close. I have an Aero Precision M4E1 upper and the ball catch on the dust cover is just to large to close.
Does not fit Aero Precision Upper

Tried this Dust cover on 2 different Aero Precision Uppers and it doesn't fit either one. I adjusted the tension spring and it still doesn't close.
