The Strike Industries Cookie Cutter Comp in 5/8x24 brings the same large single-chamber design to .30 caliber rifles, built to cut recoil and muzzle rise on short-barreled rifles and AR-10 pistols.
Features:
- Large single-chamber design with a big reflecting surface for strong recoil reduction
- Single large gas port expels gas to both the left and right sides
- Threaded 5/8x24, listed by Strike for .308 and .300 Blackout
- Heavy-duty steel construction with a parkerized finish
- Front face doubles as a glass breaker
- Roughly 7.9 ounces with a 0.34-inch inside diameter
Strike is direct about what this is: a compensator, not a flash suppressor. Expect significant muzzle flash and side concussion, and keep hand placement and the people beside you in mind.
Strike positions the Cookie Cutter for SBRs and pistol-length builds, where muzzle rise and recoil are hardest to manage. Its wide profile means it will not fit inside every handguard, so check clearance before you order.
The inside diameter is 0.34 inch, sized for .30 caliber projectiles. Strike also offers a 1/2x28 version of the Cookie Cutter for .223/5.56 rifles, so you can match devices across calibers.
Strike Industries designs AR-platform muzzle devices, blast shields, handguards, and accessories, and builds many of its devices to work together, such as its Oppressor blast shields.

This arrived and was much larger and heavier than I had anticipated. I haven't shot the gun with it yet, so I can't give a true review until then.
