The Strike Industries Enhanced Ultimate Dust Cover is the world's first quick disconnect ejection port cover for the AR-308! Manufactured from high-density Nylon polymer, the UDC will never corrode, rust, fade, or deform. It features an internal True Seal lip to better protect your rifle from the elements. A built-in adjustable detent screw allows you to easily compensate for receiver wear, or increase/decrease opening power.
The spring-loaded internal detent rod provides easy installation and take down, often taking just 5-10 seconds! Features a cut-out window for easy installation or removal, without impacting the True-Seal capabilities!
NOTE: The SI UDC has been tested to fit Mega Arms MATEN, DPMS Oracle, SIG 716, YHM, and S&W upper receivers. While it is easily modified to fit other receivers with light sanding, the UDC is not guaranteed to fit all upper receivers.

Needs a little sanding for Aero M5 upper.

Dust cover looks great and I like the easy remove feature instead of the old way where you have to remove the barrel nut. Still needed some sanding (light) to fit with the Aero m5 upper.

I bought this dust cover for my Aero M5 build. The quick release mounting works fantastic, however the door would not latch and required material be removed along the top edges in order to get proper fit and function. Works well now, so if your into spending twice as much as a standard dust cover and then hand fitting it then this is the piece for you...

Minor trimming required to fit Aero M5 upper, just used a sharp utility knife, cuts very easy. Love the fact that it can be removed without removing the barrel nut.

Fit in my DPMS upper right away.The fit was tight which I consider optimal as it lapped itself with hand cycling to yield a perfectly smooth opening action.As far as a custom build goes it doesn't get much better.

I used this for my 308 build that utilizing the Aero M5 receiver set. No modification was needed to make it work to fit. Just went right on and fit perfect. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones?

Great product I will order extra so I never have to install an old school dust cover. Installed on my aero in about 30 seconds with a pocket knife. The tension spring was easy to charge great product fast shipping.
