The Gridlok handguard body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodizing for durability. Its slim, streamlined profile houses a 1.6-inch internal diameter, providing clearance for most muzzle brakes, blast diffusers, and suppressors. The rear rail segment uses a quick-detach system that mates to the proprietary 7250 aluminum barrel nut, while the Strike Industries RailLok system allows Picatinny rail sections to be added anywhere along the handguard body. M-LOK compatibility rounds out the mounting options for lights, grips, and other accessories. This 15" length weighs 17.96 ounces. This handguard body is sold without the front and rear rail segments, which must be purchased separately to complete the system.
