This is one of the best brakes . And you can not beat the price.
Excellent muzzle brake

I mounted this brake on a Howa 1500 in .308 Winchester with a Hera stock. The Strike Type 89 Comp made the rifle much more comfortable to shoot.
Works good
by The Dude -
This muzzle brake works really good at mitigating recoil and muzzle flip. It did effect my grouping a little, I went from shooting .550" groups to .750" groups but it definitely made the gun a lot more pleasant to shoot so I think it's worth it from a practical perspective. Overall I would recommend this brake for tactical applications, if you want something just for hunting or benchrest then I would recommend KDF brakes
A great brake for .308 and 7mm Rem Mag rifles

I installed Strike Type-89 brakes on my bolt action rifles, a .308 Winchester and a 7mm Mag. This muzzle brake makes a noticeable difference in felt recoil and makes it far easier to observe impacts at distance. I highly recommend the Type-89 Gen 2.0 comp.
Exceptional Product

I have two of these Strike Industries compensators, one 1/2x28 and the 5/8x24. I plan to buy a couple more just to have because they do a fantastic job. Lime the other reviews, this comp does an excellent job at mitigating the felt recoil and keeps the muzzle rise to a bare minimum. I picked up this type 89 for $25 during the 4th of July sale and I can tell you that it's worth 3 or 4 times that. It definitely punches way above it's weight class. However, if someone happens to be standing off to the side when your shooting with this, they're gonna feel it!
