This is the first compensator I've had so can't compare to normal thread on comps but I love this thing! I used it on my 80% and the recoil and muzzle flip reduction is huge. I took some slow motion video of it and it definitely works like they say it does, both redirecting gases and moving forward.

As soon as I get my hands on a standard threaded compensator I'll do some side by side comparisons to see if the forward movement reduces recoil more. Regardless, I highly recommend this one for anyone looking to compensate a standard barreled Glock or 80%!

Put one on my G17 and my G19 P80 build. They both work like a champ. Installs easily, looks good and is very effective in reducing recoil.

Love it works as advertised even greatly reduced my Glock 31 to feel less then a 9mm without a comp

Just make sure you follow install I forgot the little plastic piece and it would give me light primer strikes after I smacked myself for not putting it in worked perfect.

This Comp is AMAZING! Works way better than comps that cost twice as much. I have about 700 rounds through it so far and no issues yet. Shoots incredibly flat, and looks awesome. Only issue is that its corners are slightly larger than the glock slide frame, so it makes it a tight fit into an particularly out of holsters where the comp gets pulled forward as you draw the pistol. No functional problem, but slightly annoying

Installation was a breeze and performance was spot on. Follow up shots with minimal muzzle rise and significant recoil reduction. Couldn't be happier. How about building one for the G34!

Got one of these last year and after only 150 rds guide rod snaped while fireing because of the hole they made in it, there was a recall for it and they claimed to have fixed it but I wont ever trust any of their products again.

I was excited about this comp and waited for a sale. Had it since the end of November '21 and it is simply unreliable. Malfunctions about every fifth round. I tested for months with 115gr, 124gr, and even some of my 50gr and 90gr defensive cartridges. Most comps favor heavy loads so I get the lighter recoil spring but I was surprised it had problems with 124gr. It also sends the rounds very high so you really need to consider that and train for the POI shift. I was looking at about 2ft high from 10yds where my Glock would normally be a direct hold. I would absolutely return it if I could but I'm beyond the 90 day defective product policy. I'd just recommend saving your money and going with a barrel-mounted comp like an Agency 417.
