The SI Rubber Buttpad is a drop-in upgrade for the Mod1 Stock system. The lightweight, slim profile enhances control and usability of the stock without dramatically increasing weight or bulk. At only 0.36” thick, the buttpad doesn’t sacrifice the minimalist nature of the Mod1 Stock.

A must have for the Viper Stock

You will NEED this. Don't say I didn't warn you. The Strike butt pad is angled and slippery plastic. It's a good lightweight stock otherwise. Strike should just include these on the stock rather than having people place another order after realizing you NEED this item.
Get this with the stock

Get this with the SI stock. Without it you can expect it to want to slid up and over when you shoulder it. With the pad, the SI stock becomes one of the most reasonably priced and ergonomic minimalist stocks I've ever used.
Viper Pad

When I received this product I attempted to put it on my stock. It was too small and once I finally got it it lasted a few hours and the retainer tab on the top broke. I think this would be a great product if it had fit on my stock properly.
Purchase with the Stock

Like another review, I agree that SI should include with the Viper stock. I have a fourth one on order. Two from SI and two from PA.
