Strike Industries Sail 5.56 Compensator - 1/2x28

The Strike Industries Sail Comp is a compact, lightweight single-baffle muzzle device whose swept baffle redirects gas up and out for muzzle rise and recoil reduction well beyond its small size.

The Sail Comp is built for shooters who want effective compensation without adding length or weight to the muzzle, which keeps a compact rifle handy.

Like any compensating device, it vents gas outward and upward and is not a flash hider. Confirm your barrel's thread pitch and time the device so the swept baffle faces the right way.

It pairs well with short barrels and lightweight builds, where every ounce forward of the receiver affects handling. Its single-baffle design is simpler than a multi-chamber brake. Check that your thread is 1/2x28 and use a crush washer or shims to time the swept baffle before tightening.
