The SI Slide Cover Plate for Glock pistols is an aesthetic and functional upgrade. Machined from anodized aircraft grade aluminum, the Slide Cover Plate is significantly more durable than the factory plastic slide plate. Using a push-button design, the plate allows tool-less disassembly of the firing pin and extractor.

NOTE: Not compatible with Glock 42, 43 or Gen 5 models

Not for Gen 5’s

Heads up. This is not compatible with any Gen 5’s. Item is most likely quality as it seems sturdy and fit and finish is good however after not being able to install, I checked SI’s website and there it states clearly this will not fit Gen 5’s. Smh. Shoulda researched more :(
