The V2 is a game changer for slide assembly.

by

If you have ever fought a plastic Glock slide plate you know what PITA putting one on or taking one off can be. You need three hands to keep the ejector and striker safety button from popping out of the slide while you depress the striker sleeve and spring loaded ejector rod. This V2 is a breeze... Take it on or off without having to chase spring loaded slide parts across the room. The V2 is a big improvement over the V1 which is harder to engage and simply does not work as well. I have both and much prefer the V2 configuration. The twin rails allows a better grip with your thumb than the larger single oval. Plus the two piece twin rail design does not separate as easily from the main plate. The V1 design is harder to keep together when assembling. The hardest part is finding these in stock when they go on sale.
