Strike Industries WarHog Comp - 1/2x28

I used this on a shorty SBR AR15 build. 10.5 barrel, and Archangel Buttstock locked down in the full forward position over the threads and right up against the castle nut. 25.75 inches. My goal was to keep the muzzle brake as short as possible, effectiveness was actually secondary. I had considered just turning on a muzzle nut til I saw this one. Through all my research it has a reputation for effective muzzle control and being loud, as well as short. In my experience it has been all three in spades, along with being freakishly cost effective. I paid $18 for mine. Don't pass it up at $14 if you have the opportunity. But if you do miss that price this lil gem is well worth the full price. I have not seen anything better anywhere near the price. It even comes with a crush washer. I clocked mine upside down on the barrel to keep the logo inconspicuous. The ports are in the same position either way. I'll put it on all my builds just because it's cheap and it works. Get one : )

Have them on two of my firearms, definitely helps out with muzzle flip. Though the people next to me at the outdoor range did not appreciate the gas that shoots out the sides
