God tier for a pistol light.

I got the Surefire x300u. And my god. This thing is bomb proof. Its much much brighter looking then the tlr1 hl i had, maybe its just me but definitely feels much brighter and like it reaches further. As i said before this thing feels bomb proof. It gets knocked around while me and some friends run drills at the range its been dropped a few times into gravel and rocky drive ways etc and its taken all the hits this is not to say the tlr1 hl couldn't do it also but i never had the confidence to try because of the cheaper feeling construction of that light versus the surefire x300u. Overall im extremely happy with the purchase and its even got a lifetime warranty from surefire! Full recommend and will definitely be buying more.

Coming from an old X200 to this was literally like night and day. Im still blown away that we can get 1000 lumens. So why not take X-Rays while identifying your target?
I really like the updated toggle switch with the push button momentary option.
If you want a hard use light that you buy once and not think about it again - get this.
Still not much of a fan of the mounting system (it works) -but I much prefer the thumbscrew mount. I get it that SF wants to give flexibility - but at some point the end user needs to make up their mind.
Best weapon mounted light on the market.

Buy once cry once. Incredibly bright and durable. I waited to buy a light due to all of the issues my friends had with other manufacturers.
After speaking with a few that carry the Surefire on the job they convinced be this was the way to go. I have not been disappointed.
