Sylvan Arms 9mm Conversion Block for Glock Magazines

Does not fit in my lower

Used this item once so far. Install was simple. Mags fit and ran well. However, upon removing the upper receiver for cleaning I noticed that the button-head shaped retention screw ,that secures the device to the mag well, had chaffed and wore slightly into the upper receiver. Appears that there is a clearance issue here. Not satisfactory in my opinion.

Great concept but poor execution. It will wear away the magazine notch on your magazines.

I contacted Sylvan Arms and was told it was "normal", but they were willing to refund me if I had purchased thru them.

Thankfully I purchased this from PA and they approved my return.

Lesson learned: Get a dedicated lower.

This does require a little fitting, but can be easily accomplished by a person with decent mechanical skills. Once installed, the adapter (and the weapon) work absolutely flawlessly. I installed this on a buddy's carbine with Foxtrot Mike upper. It runs fantastic and is something I would stake my life on in a heartbeat.

I picked up 2 and no problems at all. Easy to install and start shooting.

This magazine converter is high quality, fits perfectly into my Colt M16 as well as my Palmetto State Armory lowers. Glock 19 & 33 round mags fit and locked in nicely, and ran on Semi & Full Auto. I am very happy with it and highly recommend it.

The short version, this product was found lacking. It will not latch /secure magazines of any sort. Im sticking to a dedicated lower.

I tried old, new, factory and aft mrk and not 1 magazine would stay locked in. I may have gotten a bad unit but I'll pass for now. Returned, I'll opt for a different brand next time. NOTE: Lowers used :Anderson and Matrix.

worked great w/a PSA upper. ETS mags were too tight, Magpul were snug & factory Glock mags fit just right. I was concern about the negative review but haven't noticed any damage to my mags after 2 range trips. I will update if I anything changes.

Received today. Fit and finish appears excellent. Have not test fired, but I installed and cycled in several AR lowers and it fed flawlessly in my upper. Hope to get it out this weekend, and update.
