This A2 fixed stock is suitable for standard Mil-Spec AR-10 lower receivers and provides an easy modification for AR-10 models. This kit includes a rifle-length receiver extension tube, A2 buffer, buffer spring, spacer, and screw. The butt plate is hinged, providing access to the internal storage compartment. The AR10 Mil-Spec buffer tube kit provides modification for the buffer tube system on compatible AR-10 platforms. Buffer tubes are the aluminum housing that are a component of the firearm's lower receiver, and contain both the buffer and the recoil spring. They are also part of the mounting system for the buttstock. Mil-Spec tubes are 0.02" narrower than commercial tubes at the buttstock, but have a 0.015" wider diameter at the receiver end. Mil-Spec tubes also have 7075 T6 alloy construction, are rolled onto the metal, and provide a stronger, taller thread. Mil-Spec tubes are standard for AR-10 rifles. Modification has never been easier than an AR-10-compatible Mil-Spec buffer kit, because they are made to be compatible.
