Straight wall state hunters know

I ordered one, but was wary because of the grainy single picture, and lack of technical details. The fit and finish is nicer or as nice as any high end barrels I’ve ordered. I’ve never heard of TK but would look into their other barrels now. The gas journal is .750, feed ramps are a widened m4 style feed ramp. (Not a big bore style single ramp) I got around to shooting it today with the only kind of factory ammo I could find. Feeding is very smooth, no scoring on the brass. Accuracy is alright, about 2moa at 100 yards. Plenty accurate for my deer hunting within 100 yards. The ammo I used is the super-x Winchester 180 grain. I suspect it may be more accurate with other loads, but who knows.

Accurate but that’s it!

Out of the pack the barrel looks good, installed the barrel on a new build with dedicated 350 mags. The first round I tried to chamber the feed ramp scared the casing almost cutting into it. The feed ramp had several sharp edges and had to be polished down and worked greatly. Once I got the rounds feeding the barrel was accurate but not worth the 2 hours of work I spend on the chamber and feed ramp.
