The advantage of this rifling -- known as Single Edge Polygonal (SEP) -- is a significant reduction in the engraving on the bullet as it travels down the bore. This reduction in deformation means the projectile retains a more symmetrical shape, allowing for increased accuracy. The reduced engraving on the bullet has the added benefit of reducing the loss of gas pressures, which helps with retaining velocity. 

Bottom line: You can get sub-MOA accuracy with match grade ammunition in the TRACK 2.0 barrel.

You know the TEFLON that makes your frying pan non-stick? The same compound, known as polytetrafluoroethylene, is combined with electroless nickel to create the NP3 finish.
