The advantage of this rifling -- known as Single Edge Polygonal (SEP) -- is a significant reduction in the engraving on the bullet as it travels down the bore. This reduction in deformation means the projectile retains a more symmetrical shape, allowing for increased accuracy. The reduced engraving on the bullet has the added benefit of reducing the loss of gas pressures, which helps with retaining velocity.
Bottom line: You can get sub-MOA accuracy with match grade ammunition in the TRACK 2.0 barrel.
Shoot longer without having to worry as much about cleaning your barrel. TRIARC Systems TRACK 2.0 barrels include a low friction NP3 finish on the barrel extension. You know the TEFLON that makes your frying pan non-stick? The same compound, known as polytetrafluoroethylene, is combined with electroless nickel to create the NP3 finish.
Not only is this finish more corrosion resistant, but it also increases the lifespan of your barrel by reducing friction. Cleaning it is a snap. Sometimes you can do it with just a soft cloth. If you’re looking to build a high-quality 5.56 rifle, this 16 inch barrel is an excellent choice.

Could serve as a lightweight SPR barrel
by Alex Anderson
The hybrid profile is awesome. Groups don’t open up too much with heat, and keeping 5 rounds sub moa is a piece of cake with match ammo.
Decent barrel
by Dan
This barrel is moa or better with match ammo. It is however way undergassed. Plan on purchasing with a sprinco reduced "yellow" buffer spring.
Great Barrel

Have one of these on a Geissele build so decide to replace a factory barrel with one of these. They perform great.
POI shift suppressed.
by Daves7.62x51 -
Over four inches low and one inch left POI shift when suppressor is added. Just FYI for those who wish to protect your ears. You will have to choose to zero with the can on, or off. Unsuppressed the barrel groups well with 55gr-75gr projectiles. None of my other barrels have this much POI shift with can on, can off.
Accurate barrel

I love this barrel. I only worry about the future of triarc and whether or not these will be around in the future.
Softest shooter I have
by Chuck
This instantly became my favorite barrel. Perfectly gassed so it shoots VERY soft. I brought a handful of springs and buffers when I zeroed and a standard milspec carbine spring with 2.9 oz carbine buffer (not even H) cycled perfectly and locks back empty mags every time. I use a 50 yard range and it’s sub moa at that distance. When the 13.9” is available I’ll try it as well.
