The Texas Weapon Systems Gen-3 Handguard offers greater levels of functionality, modularity, and durability than previous models. The co-planar top rail ensures all accessories such as optics, night vision, or thermal devices properly aligned and hold zero. For additional functionality, the Gen-3 handguard is also M-LOK compatible, allowing for a multitude of accessories to be mounted on the handguard. The semi-floated hand guard design minimizes barrel disturbance when firing, while the ample ventilation holes ensure proper airflow, providing the quickest cooling while minimizing weight. Critical AK functionality is kept as the handguard keeps the ability to store the cleaning rod and keeps the ability to mount a bayonet to the rifle.
