Perfect fit and finish is top notch, will buy again. As always P/A is great to deal with
Fantastic, never had an issue!

For you basic stock kit this is great! I've built quite a few ARs and I've used this buffer tube on a couple of them. While it may not be the 7075, it holds up just fine for normal use and even for taking a beating!
Great buffer assembly kit for those "I want another AR" builds.
Also the shipping was very fast and got here a day earlier than expected.

Spring is noisy as all h**l..and when I tightened the nut the tub spun right out of the key hole slot..the key hole fit was very loose...unfortunately I will probably have to but a new buffer kit
Great product for a budget build

"Boing - Boing"

Nice kit, fast PA shipping as always -but the wife just finished her 1st lower build. Of 3 AR's this buffer set is by far the noisiest -really bad "Boing, Boing" on racking the slide-(You can hear it 3-4ft away) - even worse if your cheek is on the rest! Switching the spring and buffer helped, but part of it is in the tube harmonics. -
up to her - try a cheap mod, or return -??
not a 7075 tube
by Robert -
I just noticed this tube is 6061-T6, not 7075 aluminum - so how can UTG call it a "Mill-Spec" Tube? - other than diameter measurement, which would make it much weaker. (and in my case much noisier even with the coated spring)
Not worth it.

Install on an build and it keeps turning after installing the castle nut. Found out that the backing plate cut into the tube. Don't know if it was the backing plate or tube that is the cause but I have install many CAR stock and this is the first UTG I've bought and had issue installing.
"DON'T BUY"

"DON'T BUY" soon as you tighten the castle nut buffer tube turns with it...
Best Bang for the Buck

This is my go to buffer tube assembly for most of my builds. For $30 you really can't beat the value you get. The buffer tubes haave always been in spec and to throw in buffer, castle nut, end plate and spring in with it, is a good bonus. The spring is loud as people have mentioned but the spring had good tension and for the price i don't know how anyone can complain, just grab a white springco spring and call it a day; usually just keep the spring and buffer as spares in these kits anyhow.
6061

when i purchased this, there was no mention of 6061. only mil spec. which should indicate 7075 unless otherwise mentioned. so i feel ripped off by both primary arms as well as leapers.
From PA: Mil-SPEC refers to the size of the receiver extension and not the material. Its going to hold up great in either material, but if its not what you want we would be happy to take it back.
