Not really 50,000 hrs battery life
by Ivan -
Highly disappointed in Primary Arms. I just purchased this optic because of the 50,000 hour battery life that stated in the product description but after reading up on this optic I found it that 50,000 hour battery life is on its lowest setting. You are really only getting 7,000 to 10,000 hours of battery life or it's medium setting. Primary Arms you should really fix this so that other customers don't make the same mistake. I ordered a PA red dot and now feel like I should've order two instead of this Vortex.
From PA: According to the manufacturer's product specifications, this model has " Up to 50,000 hours on brightness setting 6."
Worth every penny

I have it mounted on my 5.56 Ar. Beautiful sight, durable, the dot is very precise, the sight is light, the added skelotonized riser mount is a fantastic addition. The glass is very clear. For this price its only competitor is the sig romeo 5. But vortex has the better warranty so....you make that decision.
Best bang for your buck

I purchased this optic because of vortex no BS no hassle warranty, if you have a vortex product and there is ANY problem they will fix/replace it for only the cost of shipping. You can literally back over this in your truck and they will replace it. Also it works great so there is literally no reason not to buy this optic. I have had had 0 issues with it.

Vortex Rocks

FANTASTIC OPTIC for the price. Rugged and accurate. I have 6 of these and on multiple platforms, and I couldn't be happier. I have heavy hitters as well, Eotech, Trijicon, etc., my point is that Vortex keeps up with them. You won't be disappointed. Great battery life as well.
Excellent Red Dot

I put one of these on my FM 9mm pistol. I have over 3,000 rounds through the gun. The optic has held zero and has not moved. The mount is solid. This is a very good value for the money.
Great optic and Mount

Skeleton mount makes it super easy to use iron sights on a CZ Scorpion
Great optic, great price

I bought this red dot for my AK and it didn’t disappoint. The low mount still allows use of the iron sights and the dot is easy to find even in bright daylight. My biggest complaint on the crossfire is it doesn’t have an off spot between each brightness on the rotating switch so it take a half turn or so to get it visible in the daytime.
Great Red Dot!

I used it in training and have found it to be rugged! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good valued red dot that stands up to constant use.
Exceeds Expectations and Price Point

I have always been an Aimpoint snob and will continue to run Aimpoints on my fighting guns. I purchased this red dot for a Foxtrot Mike AR9 I also bought from Primary Arms. Intended to just be a fun range plinker, I didn't see a reason to spend $700 on a red dot. After spending some time, and a few hundred rounds on this optic, I have to say, I'm impressed. The dot is clear and crisp. We were out in the cold all morning and after bringing the optic back inside, it didn't fog up on me. Seems very well made for a $150 optic. Buy with confidence.
