The WMD NiB-X Forward Assist is a standard AR-15 forward assist treated with WMD's proprietary NiB-X Nickel Boron coating. This coating provides a harder-than-chrome surface with high-lubricity and extreme corrosion resistance. Includes spring and roll pin.

WMD NiBX Forward assist

Nice! Very durable finish. Good fit. Looks great. Drop some lube before pounding it in. I used a cup punch to start it and then a regular punch. Voila!

WMD NIB-X FORWARD ASSIST ASSEMBLY

Really satisfied with this. Mainly got it to match my nickel boron bolt carrier, but either way, its super smooth and functions great. I can confirm though that getting the roll pin in is a little tight, but nothing near impossible. It came with all the parts to get it installed and also just looks really good.

Nothing Special, but still awesome

Everything is great.Be warned about the holding pin for the assist. It's super tight. But add a bit of lube, and life is good.

This is another one of those items I didn't know I needed until I saw it on PA's site. It makes perfect sense to coat the forward assist in NiB for ease of maintence on a heavily used AR. The coating is applied well and has the added benefit of looking sexy as Hell.

Stand-out Forward Assist

The WMD NiB-X forward assist is a good choice to add color differences to your upper build. It isn't high-polished and it offers great purchase with its textured surface. It does stand for the shooter but not enough to draw unwanted attention to the shooter. Again, great product!
