XS Sights Marlin 1895 Optic Mount - Long Rail

Lever action rifles are fantastic, reliable designs that are among the most fun firearms to shoot. They’re also immensely practical and, in the right hands, are capable out to reasonably long ranges. One issue that many shooters of these firearms face, however, is that there were not many great options for mounting optics to firearms in the 19th century, so it makes sense that, in some cases, people might want to add the ability to attach modern accessories to classically inspired rifles.

Note: Will NOT fit octagon barrel Marlins. Sight not included. Removal of factory rear sight is necessary.

Since the installation of these rails requires some drilling and dapping of the receiver of your rifle, we highly recommend that an experienced gunsmith installs this section of rail for you, and uses some thread locker to keep things where they should be. Once installed, however, this gives you the extremely convenient option of attaching any Picatinny compatible accessories that you wish to your compatible firearm. If you’re looking to get a red dot or some other sight on your lever-action rifle, this is an excellent way to do so.
