Wrenched on in a couple seconds works great for flash suppression. And there's a little muzzle control added as well. Obvious improvement over the standard birdcage. Ships with a new crush washer, which is nice. Blazing fast shipping from PA.

Easy Modification

This was an easy modification just about anybody can make to their AR15. It provides a slight enhancement without being overly aggressive. Nothing is more annoying that catching or ripping your rifle carrying case with the tip of your barrel. It functions great as a Flash Hider but not readily noticeable in the Compensator department. For easiest installation, I suggest a compression/crush washer. Typical Yankee Hill product…meaning it works as described and I would definitely recommend it for future purchase!

Decent Flash Hider

The main problem I had with this is that the flash hider requires a shim kit in order to fit correctly with the non-cut out section facing down, which it is intended to do to prevent kicking up dust. I did not know this and now have to order it from someone.
