This mount will place optics to a central height of 1.47" making it ideal for AR-pattern rifles.

BEEFY / perfect mount for a low power variable

Its hard to find info about this mount in combination with AR10. I am running this mount on a 16" 308 and it has plenty of clamping power to hold a low power variable quite securely. I have been to the range for 5 days in a row running 10 round ladder tests . In that I would shoot 50 very disciplined rounds a day reload and repeat . I did find MOA and the mount was great......even after it fell over off my bags . It only fell onto the concrete shooting table from tall bag high but it sounded like it connected....it made the flash hider ring . I continued with the testing and it was right where it was prior. I had been hovering over this rifle for 4 days I would know if it shifted . The mile of surface opposite of the clamp is really what has to be the key to it . It is just a plenty beefy mount all around for a low power variable ...and 308 is a non factor for this mount .....and no one beats Dimitri and Marsh

While I haven’t had the opportunity to marry up the scope I want for my LR-308 build, I can honestly say that the mount is indeed made from high quality aluminum and the QD lever is similar to the rest on the market. That’s not a bad thing btw. I got this during one of Primary Arms’ many sales and so glad I did.

Bought this for a SBR LPVO. ( PA 1-8x )
This works great for lightweight 1-4x or 1-8x hunting set up. Even though its " AR hight " i feel the " Recon " unit would be more comfortable for that platform.
But..., I'm also built similarly to Gumby ( tall and lanky ) , so I noticed that the optics a bit low for quick engagement on my steel and paper targets. Therefore I tuck my kneck. After a few dozen drills I get pretty fatigue.
I my colleague has a a unity tactical 2" LPVO mount similar to the ADM 'Recon ' hight, and its much more comfortable, and faster to target picture with little fatigue.
I'll still keep this mount for light weight deer or small varmint rifle. Even a 16" .308 brush rifle. But if you are short on the neck hight, and of less then 6'2" this would be perfect 👌
DID I MENTION IT WAS SOLID LOCK UP, BUILT IN RELEASE SAFETY AND LIGHTWEIGHT. ALSO TQ ALL FASTENERS IN INCH LBS.
