Anderson Manufacturing 6061 Aluminum Charging Handle
You can't build an AR-15 without a charging handle, and this 6061 forged aluminum charging handle from Anderson Manufacturing is a good choice for a basic build. It is precision CNC machined and hardcoat Type III anodized black. Nothing fancy here, just a well-made part that will deliver reliable service, and economical enough to keep one on hand in your spare parts kit.

As expected, nothing fancy but does the job.

As expected, nothing fancy but does the job. For a budget build these are great especially when you find them on sale.

Using a PSA premium BCG my charging handle failed to load the weapon due to it being smashed against the inner top part of my upper receiver. Not impressed.
Nice Affordable Charging Handle

Nice mil-spec charging handle for a great price. Mine has performed perfectly with a psa bcg in a pistol upper. Very affordable and are a steal when on sale. Will buy more. As always PA customer service and fast shipping is excellent.
Basic but effective

Cheap and functional. Was building an iron sight upper and wanted something simple / light / affordable. Finish is fine. Works as expected.
Had to modify to work properly

It's alright. Right above the hole for the gas tube on the top there was a bump that actually would catch, so it was hard to actually chamber a round. Took a little grinder to it and it works fine. Not too happy about needing to modify it out of the package. But you get what you play for I guess
Does what you need it to do.

It does the job for the price! I’m a fan of Anderson manufacturing lowers so figured give their charge handle a go.
Better than expected
Way better than what came in a complete upper from another manufacture. Not sure what people expect from such a simple part !
<br>I'll be buying more of these
Decent value charging handle

Worked with several of my mil-spec upper receivers. It's a good value, and machined and sized good enough to function properly.
