The Anderson Manufacturing MIL-SPEC Carbine AR15 buffer tube is machined from impact extruded 7075-T6 aluminum with a durable hardcoat anodized finish. The extended bottom lip of this buffer tube is designed to prevent carrier tilt. This buffer tube has been finish machined to MIL-SPEC diameter to fit your favorite carbine stocks.

Good initial impression, but disappointed

Pros: Cheap, nice exterior finish, 7075

In my personal experience, the interior of the tube had gouging or pitting. Came from the factory this way since it comes in a sealed bag.

Inexpensive but good

I bought this receiver extension tube because: #1 I have an Anderson lower and thought it would match nicely (it does). #2 It is the only cheap receiver extension I found that is 7075-T6 aluminum and #3 it was on sale. Impressed with the finish, fit and overall quality for the price.

This is a basic, mil spec tube. It's well made. The threads are cut well, the finish is nice and it's sturdy. Installed with no issues. Works as it should. Would buy again.

With fit and finish this good, I can't understand how more expensive buffer tubes exist. Flawless threads and coated evenly inside and out. Runs quitetly with the correct spring
