The Best of the Best

Absolutely the Best BCG there is, period.! I run BCM on four of my AR’s for peace of mind. Never had any issues whatsoever.
Disappointed

Functions flawlessly and has a good ejection pattern but I am a little disappointed because it has marred the hell out of my buffer after only 100 rounds. It scratches the buffer every time close the receivers. I expected better from BCM quality control. The Expo arms BCG I was using as a placeholder did not have this issue. Using complete BCM lower and upper.

As far as phosphate BCG are concerned, the DD heavy phosphate finish hold lubricant better than this BCM, albeit more difficult to clean it keeps lubricant where it 'needs' to be under adverse condition better than anything else I've abused. But either will serve you very well.

The Bravo Company MFG BCG is a great reliable choice as far as Mil-Spec BCG's go. These BCG's have magnetic particle inspections as well as high pressure inspections performed on them before retail. The gas key is staked properly. They are coated with a non reflective parkerized coating. Cant go wrong with this one.

I'm going to put this BMC BCG in all my builds going forward. It's a top quality product just like you'd expect from BCM. It's hard not to fan boy over BCM due to their over the top quality, durability and reliability. Wish other companies followed in BCMs path.
Best BCG for the money

This is the best BCG for the money. There are more exotic and expensive BCG’s out there, but this is the best mil-spec one available and that’s all you need. Don’t fall for gimmicks and waste your money. BCM loves it’s customers and not just the Government ones. Buy with confidence! My only gripe is that Primary Arms only lets you buy one at a time!!
Typical BCM

Not really much to say - it's typical BCM quality, which is excellent. I think you do pay extra for the BCM branding, but this went into a rifle I was building as a gift for my son, everything else is BCM too (except the Spikes lower) and I wanted everything to match. As far as bolt carrier groups, BCM and Toolcraft are my go-to choices.
