As a whole, this BCG is works flawlessly, and that is the important part. Tight tolerances, and excellent over all function.
That being said, there are SEVERE tooling marks inside and out. Fortunately, not on any surfaces absolutely crucial to function, but for the price and reputation of BCM, I expected much better attention to detail. I can't stress it enough, EVERY noncrucial surface is ridiculously wavy.
Every corner and edge of the carrier is extremely sharp as well, and it's leaving excessive wear marks on the buffer and interior of the URG.
For a nearly $180 BCG, I can't recommend it. Go for a Sons of Liberty, or a Sionics BCG. Much greater attention to detail, while still maintaining excellent tolerances, at a lower price too.

BCM knows what they're doing. This BCG is inspected, tested, and guaranteed by a company that stands behind products held to a standard above milspec.
As a side note, I've seen people complaining about the rough texture of the carrier. Phosphate is a porous finish, meaning it ABSORBS lube, carbon, and solvents. Soak your BCG with quality lube/solvent, like you're supposed to, rub it in, and the coarse texture will smooth out, by design.

It's not as "slippery" as my other brand bcg, but that BCG caused endless issues at first. This thing seems bomb proof, and I'm pretty sure it cycles every bit as well. Buy these, they just work.

Have this BCG in all my ar's and they are all dead nuts reliable. Accept no substitutes, BCM is one of the few companies that I would bet my life on, and I have no qualms using their components in a Duty/or HD rifle. On a side note, major props to Primary Arms, who shipped my stuff the same day I ordered them. That is IMO truly amazing, and PA has just won over a customer. Keep it up!
