The Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2 AR-15 charging handle, made in collaboration between Breek Arms and FM Products, upgrades the stock mil-spec design with large ambidextrous latches and a Mod2 gas shield that seals off the rear of the receiver to prevent excess gas from escaping. Built for mil-spec AR-15 platforms, this AR-15 charging handle is a direct drop-in upgrade that installs without gunsmithing.
The Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2 is an ambidextrous AR-15 charging handle, made in collaboration between Breek Arms and FM Products, constructed fully from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized black finish, featuring large ambidextrous latches, set-back latch geometry, an improved Mod2 gas shield, and American flag laser engraving.
Large ambidextrous latches allow fast, easy charging from either side of the rifle whether gripping with gloves or using the palm of the hand — a direct improvement over the small single-side latch on a standard mil-spec handle. Set-back latches work well for large optics, keeping the latch profile clear of forward-mounted scopes that would conflict with standard latch positioning. The low-profile design keeps the handle slim without sacrificing functionality. The Mod2 gas shield improvement helps seal off the rear of the receiver and prevent excess gas from escaping; relief cuts on the top and bottom of the stem direct extra gas out the sides and away from the shooter's face, while the increased shelf height provides better coverage of the upper receiver's rear opening. 7075-T6 aluminum construction prevents the twisting and weakness that can occur when running the charging handle one-handed.

Broke not even 150 rounds in

I bought this charging handle a while back and decided to run it, but when I was running it, it just broke not even 150 rounds in and I was running 55gr 5.56. It completely ruined my first time experience using this handle

Installed this on a RRA upper I recently purchased and will say the ease of access to the handle has improved, meaning it becomes even easier to subconsciously run the handle

Bought a.22 conversion and it has blowback. I have a radian raptor in it. Better than stock. I was hoping this would stop it. Nope.

it's perfect for me, i saw some complain about the edges being rough but i use gloves when i go target shooting so i like it, perfect for shooters that wear gloves in my opinion

They seem to work easier now, but they did not fit in three of my six uppers without being 'worn' a bit. I had to reach out to the manufacturer, and to be honest, they used the word 'sometimes' too much in the reply email. They didn't (in my personal opinion) own up to the shortcomings of their product. They did advertise that they would fit all MILSPEC uppers, and they simply didn't. After literally locking the bolt to the rear, and forcing the handle back and then slamming forward for about ten times on two of them, and what seemed like dozens of try's on the last one, they finally seemed to wear the friction down to usable. It should not have come to this. For the price I guess they function well enough, but I could not honestly recommend them.

I have three of these and will be ordering a forth. To be honest, I spent 14 years in the Marine Corps with a standard charging handle on all my M16s and never had a problem charging the rifle with my left or right hand. I shoot ambidextrous. I just buy these because I like the look. I have found that they do work as advertised. The grip is a tad bit rough, but I think that helps when my hands are sweaty. I will be suppressing an AR Pistol, but I will be getting a Breek Arms Sledgehammer for that. The Sledgehammer is designed to redirect gases from your face on suppressed firearms. All in all, this is a solid piece of gear at a great price.
