The CMC Triggers Competition trigger delivers a genuinely crisp 2.5 lb single-stage pull with almost no take-up and an extremely short reset, giving 3-gun and competition shooters fast, precise trigger control in a flat-bow configuration.

The flat trigger bow gives shooters more surface area to rest a finger against and better leverage than a curved bow, a combination that results in a lighter perceived pull even at the same actual 2.5 lb weight.
The self-contained 8620 alloy steel housing protects the internal components from dirt, debris, and carbon buildup, letting shooters drop the entire trigger group in and install the mil-spec pins in seconds.

Great BUT

I want to give this five stars but I can't due to one problem. I am getting light strikes with this trigger. Through about 1000 rounds of Winchester White Box I got 4-5 failures to boom. With Frontier 75 with about 200 rounds 3-4 failures. I really like the feel and ease of use of the trigger but this thing cost me a few seconds on two stages with failures. Went back to my previous trigger and the problem went away. Maybe my specific trigger is just out of spec. Just comparing the feel to other triggers I love the thing but I can't put up with the light strikes.

I had been wanting to upgrade the triggers on my ARs and I saw this one on sale, so I gave it a try. I liked it so much I bought 2 more! Easy to install and it has a VERY crisp break!
Fantastic, night and day

Always heard guys talk how “mil spec is the best, you don’t need anything more than that”. I’ve put well over 1,000 rounds through mil spec, and putting this trigger replacement in is night and day. Solid wall, no mush, breaks like glass. 200 rounds in, no issues. Very happy. Will update if anything changes. On sale for $90, I’d buy again in a heartbeat.

This is a good trigger, especially when Primary Arms had it at a deep discount sale price. At 2.5 lbs. it isn't scary light. Nice clean very predictable break.
Excellent target trigger (prob the best ive ever used)

Wanted something different for a target 18in SPR AR I built. I love it and Im very happy it shoots great. Functioned perfectly and was easy to install in an Aero lower (safety out, trigger in, safety back in and finally pins in). The break and reset are 10/10.

Love this trigger. I'm no marksman but I give a lot of my sub moa 100 yard groups to this bad boy. If you're on the fence BUY IT!

I will start with saying this: the trigger I had tried before buying this was a 3.5lb, not the 2.5lb I bought. That being said, I bought this trigger for a more precision type .223 ar I was putting together. Got the rifle set up, put it together, and before taking it out I found that it had a big jump in creep before it would break and it is sticky. This trigger feels absolutely NOTHING like the 3.5lb one I had tried previously to buying this one. I reached out to cmc and for 3 weeks have not heard anything back at all. Think I'll be looking for a new trigger. I'm really not at all happy with this one.
Great for the money

Ordered to replace the stock psa trigger and wow the difference is huge. I’m a 1911 trigger snob and this Is pretty much the equivalent for an ar. Money well spent. The break is so clean my brother who’s a retired army ranger jumped when I brought it downstairs and told him to pull the trigger. He was amazed.
