The Diamondback Firearms 7.62x39mm AR-15 Barrel is machined in house on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are thoroughly inspected at multiple stages of the build process to ensure quality. This 16” barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and is 6 groove button rifled to ensure consistent accuracy and has a 1:9.5 twist rate. The carbine length gas system is optimal for reliability with the 7.62x39mm cartridge. It is threaded 5/8x24 and features an 11 degree target crown. The final process is a salt bath Nitride finish for an added layer of protection.

Solid grouping. No dimple.

I bought this barrel and ran it with an anderson upper atop an aero lower. I’m achieving very solid groups. Only down side I see to owning one of these is it does not come pre dimpled. But as the gentleman above stated, it’s coarse enough to hold. I like it. Would buy another.

The barrel was a bit rusty out of the packaging. Nothing too bad, just needed a nice wipe down.
The internal milling is nice and shiny in the chamber, and well done at the gas block port.
There are no dimples for set screw type gas blocks, but the finish is coarse enough to hold it in place when torqued.
