Very nice slick finish. Cleans up very easily. Cycled perfectly from the first round. Seats perfectly every time.

NOT PROPERLY STAKED GAS KEY

by -

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...

I bought this bolt for a new build on black friday with high hopes. When I received the BCG I noticed the staking job on the key looked very marginal but had no prior experience with a gas key coming loose, so I carried on. I was finally able to take the rifle to the range a few months later in January and it was immediately a bolt action AR-15 from the first shot. The action would not cycle at all. I began taking the rifle apart and immediately discovered the gas key was extremely loose and I could back the bolts out with no interference from the "staking." The concentrated carbon build up pattern on the inside the sides of the upper were a clear indicator gas was escaping the sides of the key. A single dark spot was present on actual bolt so it was evident at least some gas was getting there and only hitting one spot singe the BCG was failing to cycle.

Long story short I will not buy another Failzero product...

Won't cycle

by -

I purchased this new BCG for an M4 that was suddenly having feeding and extraction problems. Unfortunately the feeding problem continues. But now the bolt doesn't cycle completely and a new type extraction failure is occurring 100% of the time. I place this new BCG into a total of three different Functioning AR15's and it fails to cycle in all three?! Any suggestions, I even gave it a healthy dose of lubrication, it does manually extract rounds consistently in all three AR', but won't fully cycle when firing the weapons.

Awesome Bcg!

Awesome Bcg never has let me down! Super slick

Fail zero my @zz

by

Purchased over a year ago and recently installed new in a new AR15 with a Noveski barrel. Had to take the rifle to a gunsmith as the bolt would hang up in the chamber and the rifle had to be “mortared” on the ground to get the bolt carrier group released from the chamber. This happened on approximately every 5 or 6 rounds. Gunsmith changed out the bolt on the BCG and rifle worked perfectly. So much for”Fail” often for me.

Perfect BCG

Excellent quality. My 3rd one. Never had an issue in performance. I'm writing this review because of primary arms customer service. I had a very large order and I was short a part that was supposed to be in the box, I used the chat feature on the website and the next day my part was here. Thank you Jonathan.

Work with echo trigger

by

This bolt is smooth like butter have about 600 rounds out of my 7.5 build works with my echo trigger it’s a full auto bolt so no worries it’s works like a dream easy to clean and finish its great no problems little to no oils needed I got this on sale and it’s way worth the upgrade glad I got it everything was constructed well gas key was perfect I would recommend finish is super nice also

Great BCG but it doesn’t keep its chrome look.

by

This is a great BCG. It has never given me one once of trouble after putting 500 rounds through it. The only disappointing thing is that it doesn’t maintain that nice chrome look. I wish I could put a picture in the review. After 500 rounds it turns black, so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Ahhh shiney

Wow no dissatisfaction here! Quality part looks great! Right away you can see the quality in the finish not a single blemish and a mirror finish. Just dropped right in my M4e1 enhanced upper and performed as good as it looks 50 rds in not one malfunction and you dont gotta soak it with oil. Wipes clean with minimal effort. Couldnt be more pleased and thanks for the free PA camo hat😁

Solid, Slick, and well built

Installed with a WMD trigger and aftermarket springs. The BCG is top quality. I've read other poor reviews, but it must have been a QD issue as my bolt was gorgeous with the logo laser cut into the bolt. I love the nickel boron coating. The first thing I did was clean the gun and lightly lube the bolt carrier. It is VERY slick, even before any lubrication. It almost slipped out of my Nitrile gloved hands. I inspected every aspect of bolt carrier, extractor, etc down to the firing pin. The key was perfectly staked on what seemed like quality fasteners as the staking left no marks on the fasteners themselves meaning that they were very hard. If I run into problems, I'll update, but I don't expect it. My AR is functioning like a mechanical marvel.
