Details

This Foxtrot Mike Products Ultra Light Free Float Handguard is a Primary Arms Exclusive. It features a slim profile with M-LOK attachment points along the full 15” in length as well as on the diagonal angles allowing for more variety when attaching accessories. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and has a type III hardcoat anodized finish for excellent corrosion resistance. This AR-15 free float handguard is compatible with all Mil-Spec upper receivers and most low-profile gas blocks, so you have the freedom to build your rifle the way that you want. It is easy to install with the included proprietary barrel nut and eight hardened steel screws to ensure that it won’t loosen over time. This M-LOK handguard also has a full length picatinny top rail that mounts flush with M4 flat top upper receivers to give you more mounting space for scopes, red dots and iron sights. If you are looking to upgrade your current SBR, pistol, or build a new one, you can’t go wrong with this Primary Arms Exclusive FM products AR-15 handguard.

My go-to handguard

Awesome handguard & awesome companies (both PA & FM Products), you may see my old review on here, I now prefer this handguard over any others I've used, it's slim & light, affordable, durable, the finish holds up better than any others I've used aside from possibly Expo Arms. Keep in mind the barrel nut does have to be clocked & sometimes the handguard is a pretty snug fit on the handguard but I would highly recommend it. I have 6 & will get more. I would also like to note that both companies have great customer service as I did have a slight issue with 1 barrel nut & they took good care of me. 10/10 recommend if you're ok with having to clock the nut. This is also the lightest/most affordable handguard you'll find, if you want lighter you'll spend a good bit more. 11.3oz for HG & all hardware. Next cheapest (& lighter 9.7oz partial rail) option is Aero but I prefer these. Only change I'd like to see is built in QD points but great handguard either way and lots of mounting real estate.

If you are patient and take time to install properly this hand-guard works great. I built a light weight build using it. Used a KE arms lower, 16” FN pencil profile barrel and this hand-guard it turned out great. Nice solid hand-guard with full rail on top. I plan on purchasing another.
