The Geissele Automatics Ultra Duty AR-15 Lower Parts Kit builds out a stripped lower with Geissele's upgraded parts selection, including an ambidextrous safety selector, a Maritime extended bolt catch, and textured takedown pins. This version is finished in black.
Kit Includes:
- Maritime bolt catch, plunger, spring, and roll pin
- Magazine release, textured billet button, and spring
- Buffer retainer and spring
- Ambidextrous safety, detent, and spring
- Enlarged billet trigger guard with roll pin
- Textured takedown pins
- Takedown detents and springs
The ambidextrous safety selector allows manipulation from either side, the Maritime bolt catch speeds up dropping the bolt, and the enlarged aluminum trigger guard gives more room to operate the trigger with gloves on. Textured takedown pins and magazine release add extra grip over the standard Enhanced kit.
Geissele Automatics was established in 2004 to build high-quality, reliable triggers for competition, starting with the Hi-Speed National Match trigger. That trigger's success led the Department of Defense to request a select-fire version for United States Special Operations, and Geissele later brought a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

You already know it's great
Nice but Expensive

I bought this package on sale.
Takedown Pins - These are about as nice as KNS or older Forward Control Designs pins. They have a dimple on the left to keep your tool from sliding off and texture on the right to keep your finger from sliding off.
Trigger Guard - It's aluminum and nice. I would just get the plastic Magpul one.
Maritime Bolt Catch - It's extended backwards on catch and release. Good anti-slip.
Magazine Catch Assembly - This is a good mil-spec with a diamond pattern on the button. The button is steel.
Ambi-Safety - It works. I prefer the Radian one. This safety sticks out more to the sides than the Radian ambi safety. It might be superior if you are wearing gloves. 90 degrees.
Other parts - The other parts seem to be good examples of mil-spec with a nitride coating. Very similar to KNS parts.
Better than milspec

Only had one issue mag release button was too small and a significant gap was present on both of the flat sides of the oval. Other than that really impressive all contact surfaces are knurled with a Dimond pattern. All the finishes are all nicely done with no machine marks anywhere. This will replace preferred LPK.
A upgrade

An upgrade on all the functional parts that you will be using to control your weapon. I like every piece. The only issue I had was the safety felt mushy. And after about 2 weeks of trying different springs and detents I realized the hole in my grip was a little deep. So once I put a small shim in the grip hole, the safety now functions smooth and tactile. Just adding that info in case someone has a similar experience.

Great fit and finish, all the parts you expect minus an Allen key to install the trigger guard and safety.
