Made as a collaboration between Holosun Optics and Primary Arms Optics, the red-illuminated HS507K-X2 with patented ACSS® Vulcan® Dot Reticle brings the revolutionary Vulcan aiming system to a micro reflex footprint.

Designed for concealed carry, the HS507K-X2-ACSS is lightweight, durable, and dependable, with up to a 40,000-hour runtime on medium settings. This sight retains all the core features and technologies of the standard Holosun model, including the Multi-Reticle System, Shake Awake technology, and a built-in Lock Mode. With 12 red-illuminated brightness settings and intuitive push-button controls, the HS507K-X2-ACSS works in any lighting condition and is even compatible with night vision devices.

The ACSS Vulcan Reticle is a revolutionary approach to reflex sights, giving the optic AutoAim™ functionality by improving user agility through a ‘heads-up’ target acquisition. Under duress, standard reflex reticles can be lost without proper sight alignment. With the ACSS Vulcan reticle, users always know the relative location of their aiming point, allowing for quick correction and improved accuracy on target.

Features:

  • Red-Illuminated patented ACSS® Vulcan® Dot Reticle System
  • Ultra-compact size for concealed carry applications.
  • Two Reticle Settings: Dot + Circle, and Dot only
  • Shake Awake™ - Motion on with last setting recall.
  • Parallax-free, unlimited eye relief.
  • CNC milled 7075 Aluminum Housing.
  • 10 daylight and 2 night vision compatible brightness settings.
  • IP67 Certified.
  • Holosun K footprint (modified RMSc)

This co-branded optic features the patented ACSS® Vulcan® Dot reticle system, which improves acquisition and recovery speed through its patented outer reference circle. When aimed on-target, the ACSS Vulcan Dot reticle appears as a simple, unobtrusive 3 MOA dot. When your aim is off-target, the edge of the 230 MOA outer circle guides you back to center. ACSS Vulcan Dot alleviates one of the main weaknesses of micro reflex optics, ensuring you can always find your reticle aiming point, despite the smaller optical aperture.

This version of the optic uses RED reticle illumination. Red illumination is better for low-light and nighttime as it preserves your natural night vision. Red also contrasts more against many natural backgrounds, such as dense foliage. For GREEN illumination, the HE507K-GR-X2-ACSS offers the same features but with a green LED emitter.

The HS507K-X2 with ACSS Vulcan Dot Reticle features a modified RMSc footprint. While the screw slots and recoil lugs are the same, the overall dimensions of the red dot base are slightly different and may not fit some slides milled for the RMSc optic. It does mount directly to the P365X/XL slide.

Fantastic design

by

This is my first 507K ACSS. I already have several 507C ACSS and they’ve been phenomenal. So intuitive to use and the reticle is a game changer. Primary Arms is a great company. Only negative from this buy is USPS took two weeks to get it to me. Usually only takes 3-4 days.

Ruger RXM compatibility

by -

I purchased this mini red dot to put on an optics ready firearm that I did not have yet. I decided on a Ruger RXM which is supposed to be RMR, RMSc and DPP footprint compatible. However, the locator pins for the Ruger RXM are .060 inch and the recess on this Holosun optic is .033.
Sent in requests for customer support to Primary Arms (a partner of Holosun), Ruger and Holosun. Net is: Primary Arms said they are not aware of a solution and recommended an RMR footprint red dot, Ruger said they do not make shorter locator pins, Holosun said get a gunsmith to file down the locator pins...
NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Personally, I think the engineers at Holosun should do a better job of measuring! I know the Ruger RXM is relatively new, but y'all need to communicate and work together.
Yes, Holosun is aware of the issue and they should communicate that to their partners, like Primary Arms.

Great but UNPLEASANT SURPRISE

First, in terms of the Red Dot itself, this is an easy 5-star review. The sight is amazing, especially if you're already a fan of the ACSS Vulcan chevron. First-rate quality from both the sight and PA, as always.

However; apparently not all footprints come with the same screw threads. I found out the hard way that the included screws on this model didn't cut it, even though the footprint was made to direct mount. I was lucky to borrow screws from my extras which I think came from a 507C (6x32 thread). I mounted this to a Shield Plus Carry-Comp, and I am not sure what other similar pistols would be effected.

Totally possible I'm just a smooth-brain; but, I thought I would share my experience so others could be more prepared when mounting this awesome sight to their new micro pistol. No regrets. Cheers.

So far so good

I chose the ACSS version not because I struggle with constant presentation, but because in real-life situations, a perfect isosceles stance and two-handed grip are unlikely. The ACSS reticle has been excellent for aiming in awkward one-handed positions.

So far, there have been no issues holding zero with a .357 SIG subcompact after 400 rounds. I can't comment on battery life, durability, or warranty since I've only had it a few weeks.

Additionally, the built-in rear sights co-witness perfectly with my milled slide.

I wish they had this reticle as an option for the 507c

by -

I love this reticle. It really speeds up sight acquisition, especially in low light.

I really wish this reticle was available on the 507c as well, rather than the chevron.

I have been a long time user of holosun optics, and not been disappointed yet. Fit and finish are great, the buttons are tactile and nice, and the controls are intuitive.

I don't know what else to say, really. It's a really good optic. The price is aluttle high, but I REALLY like the reticle..

Good Optic

This is about the best you can get for a micro nine for CCW. The reticle is great, and forgiving of errors in initial presentation. Of note though - the screws provided are too long for installation on the FN Reflex RMR. Be sure to use the screws provided with that pistol.

Aside from that, this optic is small, ruggedly built, light weight, and it works, (so far), just fine. If not a bit expensive, though. Big thumbs up for the Vulcan reticle.

I have three.

by

I have three of these. So far. The large outer circle will keep you alive if you are shooting one handed weak side, prone sideways, unconventional draw etc. Or are just new to red dots. Can’t find the dot…!
Shake awake works. Dot quality, red, is good. Some other dots, for me, are “star burst.” Battery life reduced when using large outer ring. Have not experienced that at all yet. Primary Arms version on hold until January 2023. What large numbers of people WANT including me is an enclosed optic version with THIS Vulcan DOT not the Vulcan arrow. Really a Trijicon RCR with this Vulcan DOT. Primary Arms are you listening? Approach Trijicon with an offer to license.

Very Fast

Awesome MRDS. I much prefer this over the EPS Carry. I had to get an adapter plate to get it to fit on my Shield Plus. It would have been nice if it had one in the box like the EPS Carry did. You don't need the sights to find the dot like on the EPS. One battery should last a year with Shake Awake because it sits still on my nightstand every night for ~8 hours. I'm very happy with this purchase. I only wish I had bought this first instead of the EPS Carry.

Great RDS, wish it had the Delta aiming point

by -

This is a great optic. The ACSS really helps with acquisition for those new to the RDS world or in a high stress situation. Only thing that would get it 5-stars is the Delta aiming point like the HS509 has.

Pretty good, but some considerations.

by

I had a similar Holosun red dot (actually a ‘red’ dot) on my Hellcat EDC. It was pretty beat up so I switched up to the ACSS/Green dot version.

Some considerations. First, depending on the user’s skill, the ACSS circle may or may not be helpful. I’ve found it to be not as helpful as I practice quite a bit and can present the optic on target quite quickly. However, newer shooters may find it helpful. Second, this sight is NOT a ‘Dot / Circle Dot’. There is no ‘circle’ for the target, just the green dot and the very large ACSS circle. Third, I see no advantage to a green colored dot over a red colored dot. Perhaps if the target is in dark colors, in dim light, etc. But, for me, there appears to be no advantage to Red vs Green. Finally, the green color ‘washes’ out the glass more than the red. It’s not a big deal, but there is some background green wash over the entire glass that doesn’t exist in a red dot, which would be red, of course. Perhaps that’s because of the ACSS.
