Lancer Systems L5AWM 30-Round Translucent AR-15 Magazine - 5.56 NATO - Smoke

I now have accumulated these mags in 4 colors - Black, FDE, Smoke, and clear (the latter not available at PA). Black and smoke are .300 Blackout, FDE and clear are for 5.56, so I can keep them all separate - getting them mixed up would be a real bummer! And the smoke and clear are for "Duty" rounds, the opaque ones for target.
These have been tested in 4 different lowers, and I have one where it does take an extra hard slap to engage, but certainly not enough to ding it from a 5-star rating - the lower has other fitting problems that are not quite precision, documented by others, and very well may be the culprit here.
Additionally, I have reports from a SF group that uses these, and they all to a man sing the praises of these mags - particularly to replace other poly mags (that shall go nameless) due to the lip spread of those mags - a failure to load a mag for that reason is far worse, and could be catastrophic.
Buy them-they are that good!

I have 10 of these mag and have not one F T F or one to work they way are to will buy again.

Hundreds of rounds through with no issues. As reliable as PMAGs but much sexier.

This magazine is an upgrade over Magpul in my eyes. The metal feed lips and look really make it worth it. Very happy I found these!

The Lancer 30 Round smoke is a great magazine, however I believe that the G3 PMAGs are better. I would not hesitate to take either one to a gun fight however. I like that I am able to see exactly how many rounds I have left vs the PMAG window is off by a round or three. Overall will be buying more

With the translucent polymer and metal feed lips, along with great reliability and fit, you can't go wrong with Lancer Mags. These fit perfectly on all my ARs and have never had a problem. They are a little more expensive than the other major brand Mag___, but they are worth it. Now these are my preferred magazines. Get them before they are banned.

I have several lancer mags. like the fact that you can look at them and see exactly what’s in it. have had no problems with them. Other mags you can only see a partial view. only thing I don’t like about them is you can’t get two of them in GI issue 2 mag pouches, two wide.

I love these magazines. Best I have found for both 223 and 300 blackout!

Love Lancer Mags!!! The steel feed lips and polymer body help where the p-mags don’t. The smoke color is harder to see round count versus the clear but better then the traditional black. Especially if you add on Lancers extension base plate. It helps keep an eye on your rounds and you get low.
